'Sleep' in the Bible
When you sit down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be pleasant.
For they cannot sleep unless they are doing evil, and they are robbed of their sleep unless they cause someone to stumble.
Don't allow yourself to sleep or even to close your eyes.
How long will you lie down, lazy man? When will you get up from your sleep?
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest,
During your travels wisdom will lead you; she will watch over you while you rest; and when you are startled from your sleep, she will commune with you.
Laziness puts one to sleep, and an idle person will go hungry.
Do not love sleep or you'll become poor, keep your eyes open and you'll have plenty of food.
"A little sleep! A little slumber! A little folding of my hands to rest!"
