'Started' in the Bible
After he went out, that same slave found one of his fellow slaves who owed him one hundred silver coins. So he grabbed him by the throat and started to choke him, saying, 'Pay back what you owe me!'
When they had done this, they caught so many fish that their nets started to tear.
and as they sailed he fell asleep. Now a violent windstorm came down on the lake, and the boat started filling up with water, and they were in danger.
For Jesus had started commanding the evil spirit to come out of the man. (For it had seized him many times, so he would be bound with chains and shackles and kept under guard. But he would break the restraints and be driven by the demon into deserted places.)
Now an argument started among the disciples as to which of them might be the greatest.

(This was a man who had been thrown into prison for an insurrection started in the city, and for murder.)
Immediately the man was healed, and he picked up his mat and started walking. (Now that day was a Sabbath.)
got into a boat, and started to cross the lake to Capernaum. (It had already become dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them.)
So after Peter and John had solemnly testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they started back to Jerusalem, proclaiming the good news to many Samaritan villages as they went.
So Philip started speaking, and beginning with this scripture proclaimed the good news about Jesus to him.
