'Stops' in the Bible
A father's ruin is a foolish son, and a wife's quarreling is like dripping water that never stops.
Without wood, the fire goes out. Without a gossip, contention stops.
No one stops to think. No one has the knowledge or understanding to think yes to think! "Half of it I burned in the fire. I even baked bread on its coals, and I roasted meat and ate it. And am I about to make detestable things from what is left? Am I about to bow down to blocks of wood?"
They had false witnesses stand up and say, "This man never stops saying things against this Holy Place and against the Law.
Therefore, if anyone stops associating with these people, he will become a special utensil, set apart for the owner's use, prepared for every good action.
