'Throat' in the Bible
For there is nothing reliable in what they say;destruction is within them;their throat is an open grave;they flatter with their tongues.
I am weary from my crying;my throat is parched.My eyes fail, looking for my God.
and put a knife to your throatif you have a big appetite;
Good news from a distant landis like cold water to a parched throat.
Therefore Sheol enlarges its throatand opens wide its enormous jaws,and down go Zion’s dignitaries, her masses,her crowds, and those who carouse in her!
