'Write' in the Bible
saying, “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.”
Therefore write what you have seen, what is, and what will take place after this.
“Write to the angel of the church in Ephesus:“The One who holds the seven stars in His right hand and who walks among the seven gold lampstands says:
“Write to the angel of the church in Smyrna:“The First and the Last, the One who was dead and came to life, says:
“Write to the angel of the church in Pergamum:“The One who has the sharp, double-edged sword says:
“Write to the angel of the church in Thyatira:“The Son of God, the One whose eyes are like a fiery flame and whose feet are like fine bronze, says:
“Write to the angel of the church in Sardis:“The One who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars says: I know your works; you have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead.
“Write to the angel of the church in Philadelphia:“The Holy One, the True One, the One who has the key of David, who opens and no one will close, and closes and no one opens says:
The victor: I will make him a pillar in the sanctuary of My God, and he will never go out again. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God—the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God—and My new name.
“Write to the angel of the church in Laodicea:“The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Originator of God’s creation says:
And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write. Then I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders said, and do not write it down!”
Then I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write: The dead who die in the Lord from now on are blessed.”“Yes,” says the Spirit, “let them rest from their labors, for their works follow them!”
Then he said to me, “Write: Those invited to the marriage feast of the Lamb are fortunate!” He also said to me, “These words of God are true.”
Then the One seated on the throne said, “Look! I am making everything new.” He also said, “Write, because these words are faithful and true.”
