'Answer' in the Bible

And my righteousness will answer for me {later} when you come concerning my wages before you. Every [one] that [is] not speckled or spotted among the goats, or dark-colored among the sheep shall be stolen [if it is] with me."

Then Joseph answered Pharaoh saying, "{It is not in my power}; God will answer [concerning] the well-being of Pharaoh."

Then Joseph said to his brothers, "I [am] Joseph! Is my father still alive?" And his brothers were unable to answer him, for they were dismayed at his presence.
