'Answers' in the Bible

Her wisest princesses answer her;she even answers herself:

So David asked Jonathan, “Who will tell me if your father answers you harshly?”

Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of Yahweh. The God who answers with fire, He is God.”All the people answered, “That sounds good.”

I am a laughingstock to my friends,by calling on God, who answers me.The righteous and upright man is a laughingstock.

So how can you offer me such futile comfort?Your answers are deceptive.
