'Bad' in the Bible
In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
A good tree is not able to bear bad fruit, nor a bad tree to bear good fruit.
"Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is known by its fruit.
When it was full, they pulled it ashore, sat down, and put the good fish into containers and threw the bad away.
And those slaves went out into the streets and gathered all they found, both bad and good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
But Jesus said, "Do not stop him, because no one who does a miracle in my name will be able soon afterward to say anything bad about me.
"For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit,
But Abraham said, 'Child, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things and Lazarus likewise bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in anguish.
Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of the deceased, replied, "Lord, by this time the body will have a bad smell, because he has been buried four days."
They replied, "We have received no letters from Judea about you, nor have any of the brothers come from there and reported or said anything bad about you.
even before they were born or had done anything good or bad (so that God's purpose in election would stand, not by works but by his calling) --
(for rulers cause no fear for good conduct but for bad). Do you desire not to fear authority? Do good and you will receive its commendation,
Do not be deceived: "Bad company corrupts good morals."
But evil people and charlatans will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived themselves.
Dear friend, do not imitate what is bad but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does what is bad has not seen God.
