'Battle' in the Bible

For You have encircled me with strength for the battle;You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.

Who is the King of glory?The Lord strong and mighty,The Lord mighty in battle.

He has redeemed my life in peace from the battle that was against me,For there were many against me.

In the midst of Your meeting place Your enemies have roared [with their battle cry];They have set up their own emblems for signs [of victory].

The sons of Ephraim were armed as archers and carrying bows,Yet they turned back in the day of battle.

His priests [Hophni and Phinehas] fell by the sword,And His widows could not weep.

Also, You have turned back the edge of his swordAnd have not made him [strong enough] to stand in battle.

“O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation,You have covered my head in the day of battle.
