'Bent' in the Bible
Then the border extended from the top of the mountain to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah and proceeded to the cities of Mount Ephron; then the border curved to Baalah (that is, Kiriath-jearim).
The border proceeded to the slope [of the hill] of Ekron northward, then curved to Shikkeron and continued to Mount Baalah and proceeded to Jabneel. Then the border ended at the [Mediterranean] sea.
Then it turned toward the north and went on to En-shemesh and on to Geliloth, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim, and it went down to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.
If a man does not repent, God will sharpen His sword;He has strung and bent His [mighty] bow and made it ready.
I am bent over and greatly bowed down;I go about mourning all day long.
Train up a child in the way he should go [teaching him to seek God’s wisdom and will for his abilities and talents],Even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Their arrows are sharp and all their bows are strung and bent;Their horses’ hoofs seem like flint and their chariot wheels like a whirlwind.

My people are bent on turning from Me;Though the prophets call them to the One on high,None at all exalts Him.
For I will bend Judah as My bow,I will fit the bow with Ephraim [as My arrow].And I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece,And will make you [Israel] like the sword of a warrior.
