'Bites' in the Bible

He will be a snake by the road,a viper beside the path,that bites the horses’ heelsso that its rider falls backward.

Then the Lord sent poison-snakes among the people; and their bites were a cause of death to numbers of the people of Israel.

In the end it bites like a snakeand stings like a viper.

If the snake bites before it is charmed,then there is no advantage for the charmer.

It will be like a man who runs from a lion, only to encounter a bear; or who comes home, leans his hand against a wall, and a serpent bites him!
