'Defamed' in the Bible

Those who passed by defamed him, shaking their heads

Those who passed by defamed him, shaking their heads and saying, "Aha! You who can destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,

Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.

Many will follow their shameful ways, and because of them the way of truth will be maligned.
