And those who use the good things of the world as using them sparingly; for this world as we see it is passing away.
Therefore let us go out to him 'outside the camp,' bearing the same reproaches as he;
You, however, must now lay aside all such things--anger, passion, malice, slander, abuse.
What follows, then? Are we to sin because we are living under the reign of Love and not of Law? Heaven forbid!
For he counted 'the reproaches that are heaped upon the Christ' of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, looking forward, as he did, to the reward awaiting him.
What are we to say, then? Are we to continue to sin, in order that God's loving-kindness may be multiplied?
