'Desire' in the Bible

Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble;You will strengthen their hearts.You will listen carefully,

You have given him his heart’s desireand have not denied the request of his lips.Selah

I have asked one thing from the Lord;it is what I desire:to dwell in the house of the Lordall the days of my life,gazing on the beauty of the Lordand seeking Him in His temple.

Lord, my every desire is known to You;my sighing is not hidden from You.

The Lord will keep him and preserve him;he will be blessed in the land.You will not give him over to the desire of his enemies.

and the king will desire your beauty.Bow down to him, for he is your lord.

Surely You desire integrity in the inner self,and You teach me wisdom deep within.

Who do I have in heaven but You?And I desire nothing on earth but You.

Before they had satisfied their desire,while the food was still in their mouths,

The wicked man will see it and be angry;he will gnash his teeth in despair.The desire of the wicked man will come to nothing.

You open Your handand satisfy the desire of every living thing.
