'Didst' in the Bible

He asked life of You,You gave it to him,Length of days forever and ever.

In You our fathers trusted;They trusted and You delivered them.

Yet You are He who brought me forth from the womb;You made me trust when upon my mother’s breasts.

When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You,“Your face, O Lord, I shall seek.”

O Lord my God,I cried to You for help, and You healed me.

O Lord, by Your favor You have made my mountain to stand strong;You hid Your face, I was dismayed.

As for me, I said in my alarm,“I am cut off from before Your eyes”;Nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplicationsWhen I cried to You.

I acknowledged my sin to You,And my iniquity I did not hide;I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord”;And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah.

You with Your own hand drove out the nations;Then You planted them;You afflicted the peoples,Then You spread them abroad.

For by their own sword they did not possess the land,And their own arm did not save them,But Your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your presence,For You favored them.

You brought us into the net;You laid an oppressive burden upon our loins.

You made men ride over our heads;We went through fire and through water,Yet You brought us out into a place of abundance.

O God, when You went forth before Your people,When You marched through the wilderness, Selah.

You shed abroad a plentiful rain, O God;You confirmed Your inheritance when it was parched.

Your creatures settled in it;You provided in Your goodness for the poor, O God.

You divided the sea by Your strength;You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.

You crushed the heads of Leviathan;You gave him as food for the creatures of the wilderness.

You broke open springs and torrents;You dried up ever-flowing streams.

You caused judgment to be heard from heaven;The earth feared and was still

You led Your people like a flockBy the hand of Moses and Aaron.

You removed a vine from Egypt;You drove out the nations and planted it.

You cleared the ground before it,And it took deep root and filled the land.

Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand,Upon the son of man whom You made strong for Yourself.

Once You spoke in vision to Your godly ones,And said, “I have given help to one who is mighty;I have exalted one chosen from the people.

Where are Your former lovingkindnesses, O Lord,Which You swore to David in Your faithfulness?

Before the mountains were bornOr You gave birth to the earth and the world,Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.

O Lord our God, You answered them;You were a forgiving God to them,And yet an avenger of their evil deeds.

“Of old You founded the earth,And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

You covered it with the deep as with a garment;The waters were standing above the mountains.

The mountains rose; the valleys sank downTo the place which You established for them.

You set a boundary that they may not pass over,So that they will not return to cover the earth.

Your faithfulness continues throughout all generations;You established the earth, and it stands.

On the day I called, You answered me;You made me bold with strength in my soul.

For You formed my inward parts;You wove me in my mother’s womb.

When my spirit was overwhelmed within me,You knew my path.In the way where I walkThey have hidden a trap for me.
