'Discouraged' in the Bible
When they went up to the valley of Eshcol and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the {Israelites} so that they did not come to the land that Yahweh gave to them.
Yahweh [is] the [one] going {before you}; he will be with you, and he will not leave you alone, and he will not forsake you; you shall not be afraid, and you shall not be discouraged."
Then the people of the land discouraged {the people of Judah} and made them afraid to build
And he told them a parable to [show that] they must always pray and not be discouraged,
Therefore I ask [you] not to be discouraged at my afflictions on behalf of you, which are your glory.
Fathers, do not provoke your children, so that they will not become discouraged.
And we urge you, brothers, admonish the disorderly, console the discouraged, help the sick, be patient toward all [people].
But [as for] you, brothers, do not be discouraged [while] doing what is right.
