'Donkey' in the Bible
saying to them, "Go into the village before you, and right away you will find a donkey tied and a colt with her. Untie [them] [and] bring [them] to me.
"Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Behold, your king is coming to you, humble and mounted on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a pack animal.'"
[and] brought the donkey and the colt and put their cloaks on them, and he sat on them.
But the Lord answered and said to him, "Hypocrites! Does not each one of you untie his ox or [his] donkey from the feeding trough on the Sabbath and lead [it] away to water [it]?
So Jesus found a young donkey [and] sat on it, just as it is written,
"Do not be afraid, daughter of Zion! Behold, your king is coming, seated on the foal of a donkey!"
but received a rebuke for his own lawlessness: a speechless donkey, speaking with a human voice, restrained {the prophet's madness}.
