'Earth's' in the Bible

Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth each kind of living creature, each kind of livestock and crawling thing, and each kind of earth's animals!" And that is what happened:

God made each kind of the earth's animals, along with every kind of livestock and crawling thing. And God saw how good it was.

The man gave names to all the livestock, to the birds that fly, and to each of earth's animals, but there was not found a strength corresponding to him,

The LORD God told the Shining One, "Because you have done this, you are more cursed than all the livestock, and more than all the earth's animals, You'll crawl on your belly and eat dust as long as you live.

Then he sent out a dove to see whether the water on the earth’s surface had gone down,

When the dove came to him at evening, there was a plucked olive leaf in her beak. So Noah knew that the water on the earth’s surface had gone down.

and with every living creature that is with you the flying creatures, the livestock, and all the wildlife of the earth that are with you all the earth's animals that came out of the ark.

“You stretched out Your right hand,The sea swallowed them.

so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God; there is no one else.

Tremble [reverently] before Him, all the earth;The world is firmly established, it will not be moved.

They are longer than the earth's circumference, and broader than the ocean.

“He deprives of intelligence the chiefs of the earth’s peopleAnd makes them wander in a pathless waste.

who teaches us more than the earth's wild animals, and makes us wiser than the birds of the sky?'

He lets it loose under all the heavens, and his lightning to the earth's corners.

to take hold of the earth's skirts so that the wicked might be shaken off from it?

Like clay is molded by a signet ring, the earth's hills and valleys then stand out like the colors of a garment.

Have you considered closely [the] earth's vast expanse? Declare [it], if you know all of it.

From the place where he lives he looks carefully at all the earth's inhabitants.

So they who dwell at the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs [the evidence of Your presence].You make the dawn and the sunset shout for joy.

I will appoint him to be my firstborn son, the most exalted of the earth's kings.

By wisdom the LORD laid the earth's foundations, and by understanding he set the heavens in place.

but with righteousness he will judge the needy, and decide with equity for earth's poor. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and the wicked will be killed with the breath of his lips.

At the end of seventy years the Lord will revive Tyre. She will start making money again by selling her services to all the earth's kingdoms.

Therefore a curse has consumed the earth,and its inhabitants have become guilty;the earth’s inhabitants have been burned,and only a few survive.

In the streets they cry for wine.All joy grows dark;earth’s rejoicing goes into exile.

The earth staggers like a drunkardand sways like a hut.Earth’s rebellion weighs it down,and it falls, never to rise again.

We became pregnant, we writhed in pain;we gave birth to wind.We have won no victories on earth,and the earth’s inhabitants have not fallen.

Do you not know? Do you not hear? Has it not been told to you since the very beginning? Have you not understood from the time the earth's foundations were made?

He is the one who sits on the earth's horizon; its inhabitants are like grasshoppers before him. He is the one who stretches out the sky like a thin curtain, and spreads it out like a pitched tent.

He is the one who reduces rulers to nothing; he makes the earth's leaders insignificant.

you whom I am bringing back from the earth's extremities, and have summoned from the remote regions -- I told you, "You are my servant." I have chosen you and not rejected you.

Turn to me so you can be delivered, all you who live in the earth's remote regions! For I am God, and I have no peer.

(Lamed) To crush underfoot all the earth's prisoners,

Foreigners, ruthless men from the nations, cut it down and left it lying. Its limbs fell on the mountains and in every valley; its boughs lay broken in all the earth’s ravines. All the peoples of the earth left its shade and abandoned it.

You will eat the flesh of mighty men and drink the blood of the earth’s princes: rams, lambs, male goats, and all the fattened bulls of Bashan.

(But there is one who made the constellations Pleiades and Orion; he can turn the darkness into morning and daylight into night. He summons the water of the seas and pours it out on the earth's surface. The Lord is his name!

So He who was sitting on the cloud cast His sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped (judged).

Yet another angel, who had authority over fire, came from the altar, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Use your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from earth’s vineyard, because its grapes have ripened.”

So the angel swung his sickle toward earth and gathered the grapes from earth’s vineyard, and he threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath.

with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality and the earth's inhabitants got drunk with the wine of her immorality."
