'Established' in the Bible
Out of the mouths of infants and nursing babes You have established strengthBecause of Your adversaries,That You might silence the enemy and make the revengeful cease.
When I see and consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,The moon and the stars, which You have established,
But the Lord will remain and sit enthroned forever;He has prepared and established His throne for judgment.
For He has founded it upon the seasAnd established it upon the streams and the rivers.
By Your favor and grace, O Lord, you have made my mountain stand strong;You hid Your face, and I was horrified.
The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the Lord,And He delights in his way [and blesses his path].
The day is Yours, the night also is Yours;You have established and prepared the [heavenly] light and the sun.
For He established a testimony (a specific precept) in JacobAnd appointed a law in Israel,Which He commanded our fathersThat they should teach to their children [the great facts of God’s transactions with Israel],
And He built His sanctuary [exalted] like the heights [of the heavens],Like the earth which He has established forever.
With whom My hand shall be established and steadfast;My arm also shall strengthen him.
“It shall be established forever like the moon,And the witness in the heavens is ever faithful.” Selah.
The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty and splendor;The Lord has clothed and encircled Himself with strength;the world is firmly established, it cannot be moved.
Your throne is established from of old;You are from everlasting.
Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns;Indeed, the world is firmly and securely established, it shall not be moved;He will judge and rule the people with fairness.”
“The children of Your servants will continue,And their descendants will be established before You.”
The Lord has established His throne in the heavens,And His sovereignty rules over all [the universe].
He has remembered His covenant forever,The word which He commanded and established to a thousand generations,
The works of His hands are truth and [absolute] justice;All His precepts are sure (established, reliable, trustworthy).
His heart is upheld, he will not fearWhile he looks [with satisfaction] on his adversaries.
Oh, that my ways may be establishedTo observe and keep Your statutes [obediently accepting and honoring them]!
Yodh.Your hands have made me and established me;Give me understanding and a teachable heart, that I may learn Your commandments.
Your faithfulness continues from generation to generation;You have established the earth, and it stands [securely].
Of old I have known from Your testimoniesThat You have founded them forever.
“Do not let a slanderer be established in the earth;Let evil quickly hunt the violent man [to overthrow him and stop his evil acts].”
He has also established them forever and ever;He has made a decree which shall not pass away.
