'Expectations' in the Bible

As it is written and forever remains written,“Behold I am laying in Zion a Stone of stumbling and a Rock of offense;And he who believes in Him [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] will not be disappointed [in his expectations].”

Although I am free from everyone's expectations, I have made myself a servant to all of them to win more people.

Therefore, dear friends, since you have these expectations, earnestly seek to be found in His presence, free from blemish or reproach, in peace.
