'Expel' in the Bible

and to have authority to expel demons.

And he called them to himself [and] was speaking to them in parables, "How can Satan expel Satan?

Now the woman was a Greek--a Syrophoenician by nationality--and she was asking him that he would expel the demon from her daughter.

And whenever it seizes him, it throws him down and he foams at the mouth and grinds his teeth and becomes paralyzed. And I told your disciples that they should expel it, and they were not able [to do so].

And [after] he had entered into the house, his disciples asked him privately, "Why were we not able to expel it?"

"Rabbi," said John to Him, "we saw a man making use of your name to expel demons, and we tried to hinder him, on the ground that he did not follow us."

And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will expel demons, they will speak in new tongues,
