'Fade' in the Bible
On that daythe splendor of Jacob will fade, and his healthy body will become emaciated.
The earth mourns and withers, the world fades and withers, the exalted of the people of the earth fade away.
The valleys will be split, all the stars in the heavens will fall down, and the skies will be rolled up like a scroll. All their starry host will fade away like leaves withering on a vine, or fruit withering on a fig tree.
The grass withers, the flowers fadewhen the breath of the Lord blows on them;indeed, the people are grass.
The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of our God remains forever.”
Your sun will no longer set,and your moon will not fade;for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and the days of your sorrow will be over.
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
