'Forever' in the Bible

The dominion will be vast,and its prosperity will never end.He will reign on the throne of Davidand over his kingdom,to establish and sustain itwith justice and righteousness from now on and forever.The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will accomplish this.

Then in the tent of Davida throne will be established by faithful love.A judge who seeks what is rightand is quick to execute justicewill sit on the throne forever.

He will destroy death forever.The Lord God will wipe away the tearsfrom every faceand remove His people’s disgracefrom the whole earth,for the Lord has spoken.

Trust in the Lord forever,because in Yah, the Lord, is an everlasting rock!

Go now, write it on a tablet in their presenceand inscribe it on a scroll;it will be for the future,forever and ever.

For the palace will be forsaken,the busy city abandoned.The hill and the watchtower will becomebarren places forever,the joy of wild donkeys,and a pasture for flocks,

The result of righteousness will be peace;the effect of righteousnesswill be quiet confidence forever.

It will never go out—day or night.Its smoke will go up forever.It will be desolate, from generation to generation;no one will pass through it forever and ever.

You said, ‘I will be the mistress forever.’You did not take these things to heartor think about their outcome.

Then all your people will be righteous;they will possess the land forever;they are the branch I planted,the work of My hands,so that I may be glorified.

Lord, do not be terribly angryor remember our iniquity forever.Please look—all of us are Your people!

Then be glad and rejoice foreverin what I am creating;for I will create Jerusalem to be a joyand its people to be a delight.
