'Longed' in the Bible

A Psalm of David, in his being in the wilderness of Judah. O God, Thou art my God, earnestly do I seek Thee, Thirsted for Thee hath my soul, Longed for Thee hath my flesh, In a land dry and weary, without waters.

When he struck them down, they sought his favor; they turned back and longed for God.

My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the Lord;My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God.

They rejoiced when the waves grew quiet.Then He guided them to the harbor they longed for.

Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.

I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.
