'Passes' in the Bible
Because you have said, "We have {made} a covenant with death, and we have made an agreement with Sheol. [The] overwhelming flood, when it passes through, will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and we have hidden ourselves in falsehood."
And your covenant with death will be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol will not stand; you will become a trampling place for the overwhelming flood when it passes through.
{As often as it passes through}, it will take you, for {morning by morning} it will pass through, in the day and in the night, and understanding [the] message will be only terror."
But the multitude of your strangers shall be like fine dust, and [the] multitude of tyrants like chaff that passes by. And it will happen [in] an instant, suddenly.
Night and day it shall not be quenched; its smoke shall go up forever. From generation to generation it shall be in ruins; forever and ever there will be no one who passes through her.
He pursues them [and] passes on [in] peace; he does not enter [the] path with his feet.
