'Questioned' in the Bible
So the disciples questioned Him, “Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
The same day some Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came up to Him and questioned Him:
While the Pharisees were together, Jesus questioned them,
Now in the house the disciples questioned Him again about this matter.

Then the high priest stood up before them all and questioned Jesus, “Don’t You have an answer to what these men are testifying against You?”

“Who are You?” they questioned.“Precisely what I’ve been telling you from the very beginning,” Jesus told them.
His disciples questioned Him: “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
The high priest questioned Jesus about His disciples and about His teaching.
