'Slanderous' in the Bible
And they were saying many other [evil and slanderous] things against Him, blaspheming [speaking sacrilegiously and abusively about] Him.
Then [to attack him another way] they secretly instructed men to say, “We have heard this man [Stephen] speak blasphemous (slanderous, sacrilegious, abusive) words against Moses and against God.”
You must put away every kind of bitterness, anger, wrath, quarreling, and evil, slanderous talk.
Likewise also their wives must be dignified, not slanderous, temperate, faithful in every respect.
unfeeling, uncooperative, slanderous, degenerate, brutal, hateful of what is good,
Older women likewise [are to be] reverent in [their] behavior, not slanderous, not enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good,
however, angels, who are greater in might and power, do not bring a slanderous charge against them before the Lord.
