'Stubble' in the Bible
So the people scattered throughout the entire land of Egypt to collect stubble for straw.
In the greatness of your majesty you broke down your enemies. You sent forth your anger, it consumed them like stubble.
You conceive dried grass, you give birth to stubble; your breath is a fire that will consume you.
