'Thing' in the Bible

I have asked one thing from the Lord;it is what I desire:to dwell in the house of the Lordall the days of my life,gazing on the beauty of the Lordand seeking Him in His temple.

Young lions lack food and go hungry,but those who seek the Lordwill not lack any good thing.

Do not let my heart turn to any evil thingor perform wicked actswith men who commit sin.Do not let me feast on their delicacies.

You open Your handand satisfy the desire of every living thing.

My mouth will declare Yahweh’s praise;let every living thingpraise His holy name forever and ever.
