'Thinks' in the Bible
In all his scheming, the wicked arrogantly thinks:“There is no accountability, since God does not exist.”
His ways prosper at all times;Your judgments [Lord] are on high, out of his sight [so he never thinks about them];As for all his enemies, he sneers at them.
He says to himself, “I will not be moved; For throughout all generations I will not be in adversity [for nothing bad will happen to me].”
He says to himself, “God has [quite] forgotten; He has hidden His face; He will never see my deed.”
He who walks with integrity and strength of character, and works righteousness,And speaks and holds truth in his heart.
I am forgotten, like a dead man no one thinks about; I am regarded as worthless, like a broken jar.
I am afflicted and needy;the Lord thinks of me.You are my helper and my deliverer;my God, do not delay.
The one who comes to visit me speaks lies; in his heart he thinks slanderous things about me and goes around spreading them.
