'Esteem' in the Bible
You shall not revile God [the judges as His agents] or esteem lightly or curse a ruler of your people.
The Philistine commanders would go out to fight and whenever they did, David was more successful than any of Saul's other leaders. His name was held in high esteem.

Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. [They were His dear friends, and He held them in loving esteem.]
