'Third' in the Bible
From that time Jesus began to shew to his disciples that he must go away to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised.
and they shall kill him; and the third day he shall be raised up. And they were greatly grieved.
And having gone out about the third hour, he saw others standing in the market-place idle;
and they will deliver him up to the nations to mock and to scourge and to crucify, and the third day he shall rise again.
In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
And leaving them, he went away again and prayed the third time, saying the same thing.
Command therefore that the sepulchre be secured until the third day, lest his disciples should come and steal him away, and say to the people, He is risen from the dead; and the last error shall be worse than the first.
