'Wandering' in the Bible

So Cain went away from the [manifested] presence of the Lord, and lived in the land of Nod [wandering in exile], east of Eden.

Now a certain man found Joseph, and saw that he was wandering around and had lost his way in the field; so the man asked him, “What are you looking for?”

And you shall say before the Lord your God, ‘My father [Jacob] was a wandering Aramean, and he [along with his family] went down to Egypt and lived there [as strangers], few in number; but while there he became a great, mighty and populous nation.

They do no unrighteousness;They walk in His ways.

Like the sparrow in her wandering, like the swallow in her flying,So the curse without cause does not come and alight [on the undeserving].

Remember [O Lord] my affliction and my wandering, the wormwood and the gall (bitterness).
