'Water' in the Bible

Drink water from your own cisternAnd fresh water from your own well.

Should your springs be dispersed abroad,Streams of water in the streets?

“When there were no depths I was brought forth,When there were no springs abounding with water.

When He set for the sea its boundarySo that the water would not transgress His command,When He marked out the foundations of the earth;

“Stolen water is sweet;And bread eaten in secret is pleasant.”

The beginning of strife is like letting out water,So abandon the quarrel before it breaks out.

A plan in the heart of a man is like deep water,But a man of understanding draws it out.

The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord;He turns it wherever He wishes.

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat;And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;
