Isaiah 9:15

Yahweh's Anger Against Arrogance

¹⁴ So the LORD has cut off from Israel head and tail, palm branch and reed in a single day ¹⁵ the elder and the dignitary is the head, and the prophet who teaches lies is the tail. ¹⁶ For those who guide this people have been leading them astray, and those who are guided by them are swallowed up.

Isaiah 3:2-3

the mighty man and the warrior, the judge and the prophet, the fortune-teller and the elder,

because false messiahs and false prophets will appear and display great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

Isaiah 3:5

People will oppress one another It will be man against man and neighbor against neighbor. The young will be disrespectful to the old, and the worthless to the honorable.

Revelation 19:20

The beast was captured, along with the false prophet who had performed signs on its behalf. By these signs the false prophet had deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and worshipped its image. Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.
