Then he began to curse [that is, to invoke God’s judgment on himself] and swear [an oath], “I do not know the man!” And at that moment a rooster crowed.

Upon this occasion John address'd himself to Jesus, saying, master, we saw a man casting out demons in your name, tho' he did not belong to us, for which reason we opposed him.
What God himself, then, has yoked together man must not separate."
Truly I say to you, Whoever does not put himself under the kingdom of God like a little child, will not come into it at all.
And, as Jesus was resuming his journey, a man came running up to him, and threw himself on his knees before him. "Good Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to gain Immortal Life?"

And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.
