who say, It is not near; let us build houses; these shall be the caldron, and we the flesh. Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man. And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me and said unto me, Say: Thus hath the LORD said, Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I have understood the things that come up into your spirit. read more.
Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain. Therefore thus hath the Lord GOD said; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and it is the caldron; but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it. Ye have feared the sword, and I will bring a sword upon you, said the Lord GOD. And I will bring you out of the midst thereof and deliver you into the hands of strangers and will execute judgments in you. Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. Then Jesus, knowing their thoughts and answering them said, What reason ye in your hearts?
And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me and said unto me, Say: Thus hath the LORD said, Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I have understood the things that come up into your spirit.
But Jesus did not trust himself unto them because he knew all men and needed not that any man should give testimony, for he knew what was in man.

For I have known of your many rebellions and your great sins that afflict the just and take a ransom and turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.

For my eyes are upon all their ways, which they have not hid from me, neither does their iniquity hide from the presence of my eyes.
If I sinned, wilt thou mark me and not cleanse me from my iniquity?
For though thou wash thee with nitre and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is sealed before me, saith the Lord GOD.
And they do not consider in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness; now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me through the east gate of the LORD's house, which looks eastward; and behold at the entrance of the gate twenty-five men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.
And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me and said unto me, Say: Thus hath the LORD said, Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I have understood the things that come up into your spirit.
And that likeness put forth his hand and took me by the locks of my head; and the Spirit lifted me up between the heaven and the earth and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looks toward the north where the habitation of the image of jealousy was, which provokes to jealousy.
Afterwards the Spirit took me up and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into the land of the Chaldeans to the captives. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked, from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
For God shall bring every work to judgment with every secret thing, whether it is good or whether it is evil.
For every one that does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
in the day when God shall judge that which men have covered up, according to my gospel by Jesus, the Christ.

Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, each man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD does not see us; the LORD has forsaken the earth.
shall not God search this out? For he knows the secrets of the heart.
For it is a shame even to speak of those things which they do in secret.
Fear them not therefore, for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed, nor hid that shall not be known.
For nothing is secret that shall not be made manifest, neither any thing hid that shall not be known and come to light.
For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed, neither hid that shall not be known. Therefore whatever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light, and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.
