Then shall the King say unto those on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry, and ye gave me food; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee? or thirsty and give thee drink? The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; the LORD raises those that are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous:
And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. And Abraham drew near and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Peradventure there are fifty righteous within the city; wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are in it? That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked and that the righteous should be treated as the wicked that are far from thee. Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, who am but dust and ashes; peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty-five, I will not destroy it. And he spoke unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty's sake. And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord now be angry if I shall speak; peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it if I find thirty there. And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord; peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake. And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once; peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.
The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous shall run into it, and be raised up.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Tet A little that a righteous man has is better than the many riches of the sinners. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous.
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee; he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
The way of the LORD is strength to the perfect, but it is terror to the workers of iniquity.

Zain The wicked plots against the just and gnashes upon him with his teeth. The Lord shall laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming.
Let me not be ashamed, O LORD, for I have called upon thee; let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be cut off for Sheol. Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
They gather themselves together as an army against the life of the righteous and condemn the innocent blood.
Caph The LORD has accomplished his fury; he has poured out his fierce anger and has kindled a fire in Zion, and it has devoured the foundations thereof. The desire of the righteous is only good, but the hope of the wicked is wrath.
Evil pursues sinners, but to the righteous good shall be repaid. A good man shall leave an inheritance to his children's children, and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
In the house of the righteous is much provision, but in the fruit of the wicked is trouble.

As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake with thy likeness.
And they shall be mine, said the LORD of the hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son that serves him. Therefore become ye converted, and ye shall make a difference between the just and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that did not serve him.
But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call a sect, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets, and have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. And for this reason do I exercise myself to have always a conscience void of offense toward God and toward men.
