The Almighty's arrows are in me. My spirit drinks in their poison. God's terrors set themselves against me.
I am among lions. I lie among those who are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows. Their tongue is a sharp sword.
God brings him out of Egypt. He is for him like the horns of the wild bull. He will devour the nations who are his adversaries. He will crush their bones in pieces and shatter them with his arrows.
I will make my arrows drunk with blood. My sword will devour flesh with the blood of the slain and the captives, from the longhaired leaders of the enemy.
Wicked people bend their bows. They set their arrows against the strings to shoot in the dark at people who are upright in heart.
