Hear, all you peoples! Listen, O earth, and all who are in it! Let the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (YHWH) be a witness against you, Jehovah from his Holy Temple.
Israel, listen to these laws and teachings! If you obey them you will live! Go in and take the land that Jehovah the God of your fathers is giving you.
Jahaziel said: Pay attention to me, everyone from Judah, everyone living in Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat. This is what Jehovah says to you: 'Do not be frightened or terrified by this large crowd. The battle is not yours. It is God's.
Hear me, you who have sense, far be it from God that he should do wickedness, and from the Almighty that he should do wrong.
Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek Jehovah. Look to the rock from which you were hewn and to the quarry from which you were dug out.
Listen, my dearly beloved brothers! Did God choose poor people in the world to be rich in faith and to receive the kingdom he promised to those who love him?

Listen to me Jacob and Israel, my loved one. I am he, I am the first and I am the last.
Moses said to the fathers, 'Jehovah will raise up for your brothers a prophet like me. You must listen to all the things he speaks to you.' (Deuteronomy 18:18)
Jehovah your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your fellow Israelites. Listen to him!
This is the Moses that said to the children of Israel, your God will raise up a prophet like me from your brothers.
Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the water. You, who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; listen to me, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
Listen to the word of Jehovah (YHWH), you rulers of Sodom! Pay attention to the Law of our God, you people of Gomorrah!

Listen to me, my people; hear me, my nation. The law will go out from me. My justice will become a light to the nations. My righteousness is near. My salvation is on the way and my arm (power) will bring justice to the nations. The islands will look to me and wait in hope for my arm (power). Lift up your eyes to the heavens. Look at the earth below. The heavens will vanish like smoke and the earth will wear out like a garment. Its inhabitants die like flies (gnats). But my salvation will last forever! My righteousness will never fail. Hear me, you who know what is right, you people who have my law in your hearts. Do not fear the reproach of men or be terrified by their insults.

Peter told Jesus: Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, let us make three tents here: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah. While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them. A voice came out of the cloud, saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.
Peter said to Jesus: Teacher it is good for us to be here. Let us make three tabernacles, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah. Peter and the others were afraid and they did not know what to say. A cloud hovered over them and a voice came out of the cloud: This is my Son the beloved listen to him!
Before they left Peter said to Jesus: Master it is good for us to be here. Let us make three tabernacles. We could make one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah. He did not know what he was saying. While he said these things a cloud enveloped them and they were filled with fear. A voice came out of the cloud saying: This is my Son my chosen one. Listen to him!
