Gird your sword on your thigh, mighty one: your splendor and your majesty.

He shall stand, and shall shepherd in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God: and they will live, for then he will be great to the ends of the earth.

Yours, LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. For all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, LORD, and you are exalted as head above all.

Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Out of the north comes golden splendor. With God is awesome majesty.


Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from before the terror of the LORD, and from the glory of his majesty.

The voice of the LORD is powerful. The voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

Daniel answered, "Blessed be the name of God forever and ever; for wisdom and might are his.

But when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in the midst of him, they will sanctify my name. Yes, they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel.

I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD," says the Lord GOD, "when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.










Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right hand.


Look down from your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless your people Israel, and the ground which you have given us, as you swore to our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey."



For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.








He spoke also this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others. Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you clothe yourselves with humility, towards one another; for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;




It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor, than to divide the plunder with the proud.



I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."





For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land.

When you cry, let those who you have gathered deliver you; but the wind shall take them, a breath shall carry them all away: but he who takes refuge in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain."
