But I say unto you, Love your enemies. Bless them that curse you. Do good to them that hate you. Pray for them which do you wrong and persecute you; that ye may be the children of your father that is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to arise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth his rain on the just and unjust.

For if ye love them which love you, what reward shall ye have? Do not the Publicans even so? And if ye be friendly to your brethren only, what singular thing do ye? Do not the Publicans likewise? Ye shall therefore be perfect even as your father which is in heaven is perfect.

Give to every man that asketh of thee. And of him that taketh away thy goods, ask them not again. And as ye would that men should do to you: so do ye to them likewise. If ye love them which love you: what thank are ye worthy of? For the very sinners love their lovers. And if ye do for them which do for you: what thank are ye worthy of? Of them which seemed to be great - what they were in time passed it maketh no matter to me: God looketh on no man's person - nevertheless they seemed great, added nothing to me:



Who provideth meat for the raven, when his young ones cry unto God, and fly about for want of meat?


He will not suffer thy foot to be moved, and he that keepeth thee will not sleep.




The LORD is loving unto every man; and his mercy is over all his works.

For the LORD your God, he is God of Gods and Lord of lords; a great God, a mighty and a terrible which regardeth no man's person nor taketh gifts: but doeth right unto the fatherless and widow and loveth the stranger, to give him food and raiment. Love therefore the stranger, for ye were strangers yourselves in the land of Egypt.

Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem in three days, that is on the twentieth day of the ninth month: and all the people sat in the street before of the house of God, and trembled because of this matter, and for the rain.



Then Elijah said unto Ahab, "Get thee up and eat and drink, for there is a sound of much rain."

Children of Zion, be glad and rejoice in the LORD your God. For he hath given you a teacher of righteousness, and will make descend unto you the first rain and the later, as at the beginning.

And abundance of rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that same house, and it fell not: because it was grounded on the rock.


And when Samuel called unto the LORD, the LORD sent thunder and rain the same day. And all the people feared the LORD and Samuel exceedingly.

When the clouds are full, they pour out rain upon the earth. And when the tree falleth, whether it be toward the South or North, in what place soever it fall, there it lieth.

Thus sayeth the LORD, "Go into the streets, consider and make inquisition for the old way: and if it be the good and right way, then go therein, that ye may find rest for your souls. But they say, 'We will not walk therein.'

Servants, be obedient unto your carnal masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your hearts, as unto Christ: not with service in the eyesight, as men-pleasers: but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart with good will, even as though serving the Lord and not men. read more.
And remember that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, that shall he receive again of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

and see thou do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that thou mayest prosper and that thou mayest go and conquer that good land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers,

Let every soul submit himself unto the authority of the higher powers. For there is no power, but of God. The powers that be, are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth power, resisteth the ordinance of God. And they that resist, shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not to be feared for good works but for evil. Wilt thou be without fear of the power? Do well then: and so shalt thou be praised of the same.

He that is faithful in that which is least: the same is faithful in much. So then if ye have not been faithful in the wicked mammon, who will believe you in that which is true? And if ye have not been faithful in another man's business: who shall give you your own?


The righteous abhorreth the ungodly; but as for those that be in the right way, the wicked hate them.

Woe to the abominable, filthy and cruel city: which will not hear, nor be reformed. Her trust is not in the LORD, neither will she hold her to her God. Her rulers within her are as roaring lions: her judges are as wolves in the evening, which leave nothing behind them till the morrow. read more.
Her prophets are light persons and unfaithful men: her priests unhallow the Sanctuary, and do wrong under the pretence of the law. But the just LORD that doth no unright, was among them, every morning showing them his law clearly, and ceased not. But the ungodly will not learn to be ashamed.
