Thematic Bible: To brethren

Thematic Bible

The decree the king issues will be heard throughout his vast kingdom, so all women will honor their husbands, from the least to the greatest.”

Wives, too, must be worthy of respect, not slanderers, self-controlled, faithful in everything.

To the weak I became weak, in order to win the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that I may by every possible means save some.

For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you took care of Me; I was in prison and you visited Me.'

Then the weak person, the brother for whom Christ died, is ruined by your knowledge.

“If you come across your enemy’s stray ox or donkey, you must return it to him.

or become excited when trouble came his way?

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; for you will heap coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you.

do not murder;
do not steal;
do not covet;

and whatever other commandment—all are summed up by this: Love your neighbor as yourself.
