He appointed twelve to be with him and he sent them out to preach.

After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother up into a high mountain alone.

The apostles gathered together with Jesus. They told him all things they had done and taught. He told them come into a secluded place and rest a while. For there were many people coming and going and they had no leisure time. They went away in the boat to a secluded place.

So that seeing they may see and not perceive. And hearing they may hear and not understand. Otherwise they might repent and be forgiven.
