So then, leave all uncleanness and remains of malice and receive with meekness the word ingested within you, which is able to cause your souls to be saved. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if anyone hears the word and does not put it into practice, this same is like unto the man beholding his natural face in a mirror:

as newborn babes, desire the rational milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby in health;

But he said, Rather, blessed are those that hear the word of God and keep it.

For the word of God is alive and efficient and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

Much in every way: first, certainly, that the oracles of God have been entrusted unto them.

If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God; if anyone ministers, let them do it according to the virtue which God gives, that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus, the Christ, unto whom is glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
