Wherefore, exhort one another, and build up one another, as also ye do.
So, then, let us follow after the things productive of peace, and the things that tend to mutual edification.
but exhort one another daily, so long as it is called "To-day," lest anyone of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin;
But do ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
with a view to the perfecting of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ;
Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but whatever is good for the supplying of the need, that it may give grace to those who hear.
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfected, be comforted, think the same thing; be at peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
from Whom all the body, fitly framed and knit together through every joint of supply, according to the working in due measure of each single part, secures the growth of the body to the upbuilding of itself in love.
But, concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that aught be written to you; for ye yourselves know accurately that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief at night. When they are saying, "Peace and safety," then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall in nowise escape.read more.
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you as a thief; for ye are all sons of light, and sons of day; we are not of night, nor of darkness. So, then, let us not sleep as do the rest, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep sleep at night, and those who are drunken are drunken at night. But let us, being of the day, be sober, having put on a breast-plate of faith and love; and, as a helmet, a hope of salvation; because God did not appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we watch or sleep, we may live together with Him.
What is it, then, brethren? When ye come together, each one of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edification.
So also ye, since ye are eager for spiritual gifts, seek that ye may abound in them with a view to the edification of the assembly.
but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him, Who is the Head, Christ;
