Jesus, therefore, cried in the temple, teaching and saying, "Ye both know Me, and know whence I am; and I have not come of Myself; but He Who sent Me is true, Whom ye know not.
May it not be! But let God be true, and every man a liar; as it has been written, "That Thou mayest be justified in Thy words; and mayest overcome, when Thou judgest."
for they themselves report, concerning us, what manner of entrance we had to you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God,
And we know that the Son of God hath come, and hath given us understanding, that we may know the True One: and we are in the True One??n His Son Jesus Christ. This is the True God, and eternal life.

And he says to me, "Write, Happy are those who have been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb." And he says to me, "These are true words of God."
but we renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, not handling the word of God deceitfully; but, by the manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for, indeed, the Father seeketh such to be His worshipers. God is a spirit; and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
For God's wrath is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hinder the truth in unrighteousness;
therefore, let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him, Who is the Head, Christ;
It is needful that deacons, in like manner, be grave, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy of base gain;
For the bishop must be blameless, as God's steward; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, not a striker, not greedy of base gain;
in all things showing yourself an example of good works; in teaching, showing incorruptness, gravity, sound speech not to be condemned; that he who is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say concerning us.
Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
And they send to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, "Teacher, we know that Thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one; for Thou dost not look into the face of men:
And, coming, they say to Him, "Teacher, we know that Thou art true, and carest not for any one; for Thou lookest not into the face of men, but in truth teachest the way of God. Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
In this I myself also am striving always to have a conscience void of offense toward God and men.
For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.
For we are not as the many, making merchandise of the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, we speak in Christ.
And, because I speak the truth, ye believe Me not. Who of you convicts Me of sin? If I speak truth, why do ye not believe Me?
Jesus answered him, "If I spake evil, testify concerning the evil; but, if well, why do you beat Me?"
So, then, have I become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
