For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.

And, if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will make alive your mortal bodies through His Spirit dwelling in you.

not by works of righteousness which we did, but according to His mercy, He saved us through a washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit;

"Let not your heart be troubled: believe in God, believe also in Me.

but these have been written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that, believing, ye may have life in His name.

And they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, and your house."

that if you shall confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and shall believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

that I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; if by any means I may attain to the out-resurrection from the dead. Not that I already obtained, or have already been made perfect; but I am pressing on, if I may lay hold of that for which I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.read more.

And be not drunken with wine, in which is riot, but be filled with the Spirit;

But we all, with unveiled face, reflecting as a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transfigured into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

because whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first born among many brethren.

Beloved, now are we children of God, and never yet was it manifested what we shall be. We know that, if He shall be manifested, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is. And every one that has this hope on Him purifies himself, even as He is pure.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For ye did not receive a spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received a spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit Himself testifieth with our spirit, that we are children of God;

And, because ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba," Father.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, continence; against such there is no law.

So every good tree bears good fruit, but the worthless tree bears evil fruit.

I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abides in Me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit; because, apart from Me, ye can do nothing. Unless one abides in Me, he was cast forth as a branch, and withered; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done to you.read more.
In this was My Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit, and become My disciples.

for the Kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

for ye were once darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord; walk as children of light (for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),

Beloved, let us love one another; because love is of God, and every one that loves has been begotten of God, and knows God.

A new commandment I give to you, that ye love one another; even as I loved you, that ye love one another. By this shall all know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another."

If I speak with tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. And, if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all the mysteries and all knowledge; and, if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing, And, if I bestow in morsels all my goods; and, if I give my body to he burned, but have not love, I am profited nothing.read more.
Love suffers long, is kind; love envies not; love vaunts not herself, is not puffed up,

Put on, therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, tender affections of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, long-suffering;

And I, brethren, could not speak to you, as to spiritual, but as to carnal??s to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk, and not solid food; for not yet were ye able to bear it; nay, nor even now are ye able; for ye are yet carnal; for whereas there is among you jealousy and strife, are ye not carnal, and do ye not walk as men?

Brethren, do not be children in mind; yet in evil be babes, but in mind be full-grown.

for every one who partakes of milk is inexperienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe; but solid food is for full-grown men, who by practice have their senses trained for the discernment both of good and evil.

Brethren, even if a man be caught in any trespass, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of meekness; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.

But him that is weak in the faith receive ye, yet not for decisions of scruples. One believes that he may eat all things; but he that is weak eats herbs. Let not him that eats despise him that eats not; and let not him that does not eat despise him that eats; for God received him.

But take heed, lest this liberty of yours become a stumbling-block to the weak. For, if anyone sees you, who have knowledge, reclining at table in an idol's temple, will not his conscience, if he is weak, be emboldened to eat the idol-sacrifices? For he that is weak??he brother for whom Christ died??erishes by reason of your knowledge.read more.
And thus, sinning against the brethren, and smiting their conscience which is weak, ye sin against Christ. Wherefore, if food causes my brother to stumble, I will in no wise eat flesh forevermore; that I cause not my brother to stumble.

but, as it has been written, "Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not, and that entered not into the heart of man??hatsoever things God prepared for those who love Him"; but to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things ??ven the deep things of God. But he that is spiritual judges all things; but he himself is judged by no one. For who knew the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

teaching us, that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly, and righteously, and godly in the present age;

I beseech you, therefore, brethren, through the mercies of God, to present, your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, which is your rational service; and he not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and well-pleasing and perfect will of God.

Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you, Whom ye have from God, and that ye are not your own? For ye were bought with a price; glorify God, therefore, in your body.

And those who are of Christ Jesus crucified the flesh with the passions and desires.

If, therefore, ye were raised up with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God. Keep thinking of the things above, not of the things on the earth,

If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in My love, even as I have kept My Father's commandments, and abide in His love.

And He is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world. And in this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, "I have known Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;read more.
but whosoever keeps His word, truly in him the love of God has been perfected: in this we know that we are in Him. He who says that he is abiding in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked.

In this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and do His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome;

If we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also walk.

Ye stiffnecked, and uncircumcised in heart and ears! ye do always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do ye.

And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, in Whom ye were sealed unto the day of redemption.

Quench not the Spirit.

Now they have known that all things whatsoever Thou gavest Me are from Thee;

and that, from a babe, you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith that is in Christ Jesus. Every Scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly furnished for every good work.

And it came to pass in those days, that He went out into the mountain to pray; and He was spending the whole night in prayer to God.

And, having risen very early, by night, He went out into a desert place, and was there praying.

Now, beholding the boldness of Peter and John, and perceiving that they were unlettered and ignorant men, they were wondering; they also were recognizing them, that they had been with Jesus;

and let us consider one another, to incite to love and good works;

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts, to God.

as ye know how we dealt with each one of you, as a father with his own children, exhorting you, and encouraging you, and testifying, that ye should walk worthily of God, Who is calling you into His own Kingdom and glory.

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall in with manifold temptations; knowing that the proving of your faith establishes patience. And let patience have a perfect work; that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.

And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations; knowing that tribulation works out patience; and patience, approval; and approval, hope;

in which ye exult, though now, for a little while, if necessary, made sorrowful in manifold temptations; that the proving of your faith??eing much more precious than gold that perishes, but is proved through fire??ay be found unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

and, having removed him, He raised up for them David to be their king; to whom bearing testimony, He said, 'I found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will do all My will.'

And the saying was pleasing to the multitude; and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte of Antioch;
