Therefore since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession.

For since he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.
For we do not have a high priest incapable of sympathizing with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin.
So he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with hands -- the representation of the true sanctuary -- but into heaven itself, and he appears now in God's presence for us.
God raised up his servant and sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each one of you from your iniquities."
Indeed, he will build the temple of the Lord, and he will be clothed in splendor, sitting as king on his throne. Moreover, there will be a priest with him on his throne and they will see eye to eye on everything.

But now he has appeared once for all at the consummation of the ages to put away sin by his sacrifice.
