Then blind eyes will open, deaf ears will hear.

Bring out the people who are blind, even though they have eyes, those who are deaf, even though they have ears!

Does the one who makes the human ear not hear? Does the one who forms the human eye not see?

Does not the ear test words, as the tongue tastes food?

"Listen to my words, you wise men; hear me, you learned men. For the ear assesses words as the mouth tastes food.
